An Explanation to the Virtual Living Book Concept

       The Swiss Preserve Solution is by no means an ordinary book.  While traditional books are something with a beginning and an end both for the author and the reader, Legacy’s online component delivers much more. The online version will be updated with new texts, links, products, solutions, and threats as the world changes.  My goal is to make the book a combination of an online newsletter and an internet course.  Here information will be updated in a timely manner to meet the needs of the readers in response to the enemies of liberty and secure wealth.

       Those buying the print version will also have the opportunity to sign up for the The Swiss Preserve Solution E-mail Updates on the Swiss Confederation Institute website for a timely notification of all additions or revisions to the book and website. You can sign-up for this update, as well as review the internet links at the end of each chapter at www.swissconfederationinstitute.org/updates.htm                                                                       

       If you are reading this book online and have neither purchased a copy nor paid to subscribe to the closed update service, then you will just have to guess and re-read the online version periodically to determine the new material and recommendations. Of course, you have the opportunity to order a print version online, as there is no doubt the reading and retention of a print book is superior to online reading. Still, today’s news and information flow so quickly on the internet, that informational books like The Swiss Preserve Solution often become obsolete even before they are published, printed, and sold to the regular retail market. 

       This is a new, internet-centered world in which we live, and no amount of nostalgia will bring back the outmoded habits of old.  Just as Gutenberg's printing press changed Europe and the world forever, so have weapons- like nuclear weapons, and new terrorist war tactics forever altered the future course of mankind.  History shows us that once a new innovation, or genie, is out of the bottle, neither government, free-enterprise, philosophy or religion can ever put him back.  If I have any suggestions, they are to hold on to your cultural, heritage, and religious traditions, as little else will remain real and true during this new century.  The 21^st century is a time where events continue to unfold at a faster pace, and all of this change will unfurl in full view of the public with wired and electronic communications.

       Unlike in the past, the problems will not be a lack of information or government barriers to information flow.  Instead, our problems will stem from information overload from the daily news TV, internet sources, and everywhere else in between. Of course, no news is unbiased, especially in this day and age with governments, politicians and corporate special interests controlling most of the establishment media outlets.  Readers will still have the ability to pick and choose the news, editorial content, and preferred views over the internet. Nevertheless, do not belittle the power of the media or the political establishment to increase the manipulation of public opinion though the media—for their power and scope will increase with the rise in alternative news and opinions available on the internet. 

       We are now living in a time that only Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's chief propagandist, wishfully dreamed about when those in power could manufacture, manipulate, and control news and public opinion to the vast majority of the public.  It’s a frightening reality that today, they have the power to control the views of voters, many of whom have never questioned authority or had an original thought in their lifetime.  I believe the mob rule of democracy, which Thomas Jefferson warned the young American Republic about, will reach its zenith in the coming decades.  This will be a scary time to be an American, and especially frightening to be a wealthy American.  In the future, wealthy Americans will be forced to pay for the high costs of a world empire in monetary terms, and the poorer classes will pay both physically, with their lives during perpetual war, and economically, as their opportunities for prosperity will dissipate.  Unfortunately, I am unable to paint a rosy future for the next couple of decades-- unless the philosophy of limited government and personal liberty again takes hold in the United States.

       My aforementioned prediction is not simply idle chatter. We are truly living in a new paradigm of regulations and wealth attacks that will flow at warp speeds around productive Americans and investors in a firestorm of misinformation and lost opportunities.  The Swiss Preserve Solution is written to give you the best chance of staying away from the parasitical adversaries who are out to destroy your remaining freedoms and steal your hard-earned wealth. The book includes philosophy, history, and a segment on threats to your wealth and new asset protection solutions found in Section IV: “Choose Your Strategy: Get it Right the First Time”. 

       Each page will also have a short segment at the bottom described as "Ron Fact, Book & Video Recommendations For This Page" and here we will have a brief thought on what you should get from the page and links to books, videos, short You Tube videos that will allow the reader to find more information on subjects covered or mentioned on that particular page. The author does not agree with everything in these specific recommendations but presents them to you for your enjoyment, study or as a thought provoking tool outside the conventional wisdom and propaganda of the day as this is an alternative, politically incorrect guide to preserving your wealth, restoring your liberty and looking at history, politics and actions to protect and defend our birthright of freedom and liberty.

       At the end of each chapter, you will find a section titled: "For Additional Reading and Research Regarding This Chapter", which provides various internet links should you want to research further some of the strategies and information discussed in the chapter. However, remember that some of the links will go bad, some will deleted, and many others will be added as information and current events move forward. Ultimately, you may just want to do your own research, as my goal is simply to provide for you a starting point. For those of you who buy the print version of the book, you will the opportunity to access all of the current internet links on the Swiss Inner Circle website at the above link. I have also included a large number of real life examples, or case studies, to show how specific asset protection techniques can defend your wealth.  These can be found in each topic related chapters and in the appendix. 

       I hope that you will find the book beneficial--both in protecting your wealth and in helping to restore the American dream of limited government, secured wealth, and ordered liberty to our nation.  In many instances, the important steps you take to protect your wealth may not be fully appreciated in this generation, but will prove meaningful and important in the lives of our children and subsequent generations.  My prayer is that future generations will have the opportunity to again live the American dream and have reason to feel safe, protected, and secure in what was once the land of the free.

       It is time for a change in America today. Our wealth is at high risk from the ongoing lawsuit mania and other threats that we will address later in the book. The “War on Terror” has weakened much of our remaining financial privacy, civil liberties, and constitutional protections. We are stuck in a futile war in the Middle East, which was supposed to destroy weapons of mass destruction and bring democracy to Iraq and then the entire Middle East. But any hints of success have been few, and the more numerous negative consequences have been simply disastrous for our nation -- not to mention the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi lives that have been lost. Granted, I do not mean this as an attack on President Bush or the Republican Party, because I am sure the Democrats would have followed a similar course of action had they been in power, despite what they claim now. Nevertheless, the problem today is that special interests control the American political system and the few honorable men and women in both parties have no chance against the financial resources and media spin of the special interests.

       I fear the American dollar and the economy could seriously deteriorate over the next five years.  I fear this deterioration because along with this may well go much of the safety, appreciation and security of our retirement and investment portfolios. Even with the "false thin veneer" of the Constitution currently hanging by a thread, I'm concerned the Bill of Rights and the Republic will be nullified in practice, although I am sure some symbols will remain to give comfort and false-hope to our citizens.

The New Democrat Party Majority

       The 2006 campaigns for the Senate, House, and Governorships were seemingly no different from previous election campaigns, plagued with the same campaign rhetoric, slurs and predictable slogans.  However, the defining characteristic of the 2006 campaigns was the mandate over the Iraq War, which led the Democrats to take control of the House and Senate. It is obvious that the Democrats have no intention to quickly end the war, despite their campaign slogans and the outcome will be similar to Newt Gingrich and the GOP with their earlier "Contract with America" which began back in 1994. The unfortunate truth is that while citizens can still vote for a change of direction in government policies, the outcome is usually more of the same.  This trend occurs because after the election is over, the politicians only pay attention to the special interests that fund their re-election campaigns. The 2006 election was then, as usual, a Catch-22 situation for your wealth and liberty. You always end up in an unfavorable position no matter your vote choice or which party wins the election.

       I always know it is election time when the television pharmaceutical industry advertisements claiming to solve everything from sleep problems to impotence are being pushed aside so that politicians can run negative campaign ads against their opponents over and over again. The few positive ads that still exist suggest that the politicians are really interested in us and our problems.  It is true that the politicians are interested in voters at election time, but they are for other reasons.   As the above quotation by P.J. O'Rourke suggests, politicians live off of our created wealth in an utterly parasitical relationship.

The internet is a two-edged sword, permitting the widest dissemination of news, views and propaganda on every side of an issue. Empire by Orson Scott Card. My favorite science fiction writers does a passable job at describing a future red state and blue state confrontation and civil war between extremists on both sides. Worth a read if you enjoy novels but nothing can compare to his Enders Game.
